THE ALPS AND THE WHITE MOUNTAIN
Monte BiancoThe White mountain is the solid mountain situated in he chain of the Alps, the White mountain is between Valle d'Aosta (Val Veny and Val Ferret) - in Italy and High Savoia (Valley of Chamonix) - in France. It is 4.810,90 metres high (last official measurements dated September 16, 2007) and is a highest mountain in Europe. There are numerous glaciers among them - to the South the glaciers of Freney, of Brenva, of Miage, of White Mountain and of Brouillard; - to the north - the glaciers of Bossons and mer de Glace. In La Palud, near Cormier, starts a beautiful route of a cable-way into the glaciers. Less than one hour it takes to arrive in Chamonix, in France, through all the chain of the Alps. The cable-way was built in 60s and is considered one of the most interesting in the world and it gives a possibility to enjoy a beautiful panorama.

CASTLES OF VALLEY AOSTA
Castello di FenisCastles of Valley Aosta are numerous and important. While passing Valley Aosta you meet the gendarmes who times ago protected the city and who now salute the visitors. Each town had a Castle. The famose and beautiful castle is the castle of Fénis. The first castle that you meet in the valley is the castle of Bard. Behind the city Aosta, the last there is the castle of Saint-Pierre. The castles in the history passed the evolution. In the beginning the designation of them was to protect (in the beginning of second millennium). In the following epoch the designation was to demonstrate a potential and riches of the owner: these characteristics have the castle of Fénis and the castle of Issogne. And finally we are in XIX century, the castle is to remember the ancient greatness (it's the Castel Savoir).

PORT VENERE AND 5 LANDS (CINQUE TERRE)
Porto VenerePort Venere is a town with 3.990 citizens in the province of Spezia. Five Lands ( Cinque Terre) are the section of the cost of Liguria Riviera situated on the territory of the Province of Spezia between Punta Mesco and Punta di Montenero, where there are 5 outskirts or, as they were called in ancient times, lands, Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The Five Lands, thanks to geographical and anthropomorphic characteristics of the territory form one of the principle touristic route of Riviera of Spezia and in generally of Liguria. The orographic content is very particular, in other words a territory is hilly. The activity of man in centuries changed the territory but without worsen an ecological equilibrium, only praising the beauty. The landscape is one of the most beautiful and pleasant of Liguria. In 1997 Cinque Terre, together with Port Venere and the Islands Palmaria, Tino e Tinetto, were included into the World Humanity Heritage by UNESCO.

CILENTANA COAST AND NATIONAL PARK OF CILENTO
CilentoClientana Coast is a part of a coast between golf of Salerno and a golf of Policastro, in Cilento. This part of coast is famous in all the world for its beauty of nature and the quality of a bathing water. Each year many places of the coast receive blue flags from Legambiente. The National Park of Cilento and Vallo di Diano were built in 1991 in the southern part of the province of Salerno, and include the plain of Sele in the north, Basilicata in the east and south, the Tyrrhenian Sea in the west. Totally they include the territories of 8 mountain Comunities and 80 towns. In 1991 it was included into the World Humanity Heritage (together with temples of Paestum and Certosa of Padula) and in 1997 into the Reserve of biosphere.

VILLAS OF PALLADIO
Villa Capra - La RotondaThe villas of Palladio together with the villas of Veneto (on the territory of the republic of Venice), are concentrated mainly in the province of Vicenza, built in the middle of XVI century by the architecture Andrea Palladio for the most important families, aristocracy and some - bourgeoisie. Together with a city Vicenza 24 villas of Palladio of Veneto were included into the World Humanity Heritage in 1994-1996. The villas of Palladio are different from roman and Medici's villas: they were not designated only for the owners, but they were also the centres of production. Normally they were bounded by camps and vineyards, storehouses, stables, everything necessary for the work in the campaign. Normally they had the lateral fenders to divide a working zone from a central zone.

SUBIACO AND MONASTERS OF BENEDICTS
Sacro SpecoSan Benedetto from Norcia (Norcia, about 480 - a monastery in Montecassino, about 547) was a monk and saint Italian, who founded the Benedict's Order. It is respected by all the Christian churches which accept the cult of saints. 13 monasteries were founded in Subiaco in the commune of 9.332 citizens in the province of Rome, 408 meters above in the valley of Aniene, to the right from the river. Subiaco is a scenic mediaeval borough, built on the shoulder of the rock in the valley of Aniene. The monasteries of Sacro Speco and of Santa Scolastica are centres of religious, artistic and touristic interest.

NATIONAL PARK OF ABRUZZO, LAZIO AND MOLISE
Orso - Parco Nazionale d' Abruzzo Lazio e MoliseThe National Park of Abruzzo was founded in Pescasseroli on September 9, 1922, and the legal entity Park was founded on November 25, 1921 with a temporary directory. The first was founded in the commune of Opi in Val Fondillo and Camosciara on October 2, 1921 and was committed to the association Pro montibus et sylvis till January 17, 1923 when the legal entity received a governing. On March 25 with a royal decree was created an administrative committee of the park. It is mostly situated (about 3/4) in the province of Aquila in Abruzzo and other part is Frosinone in Lazio, in Isernia of Molise. The National Park of Abruzzo together with The National Park Gran Paradiso is the most antique of Italy and famous on the national level for its role in a safe keeping of some types of the most important Italian animals, a wolf, a chamois of Abruzzo and a brown bear of Marsica, and numerous initiatives to improve the environment.

NATIONAL PARK OF GRAN PARADISO
StambeccoThe National Park of Gran Paradiso, founded in 1922, is the most antique National Italian park together with the National Park of Abruzzo. It is in the regions of Valle d'Aosta and Piemonte is governed by the entity National Park of Gran Paradiso, with the management in Turin. It covers about 70.318 hectares, mostly mountain. The Gran Paradiso is a unique mountain range concentrated for more than 4000 meters absolutely on the territory of Italy.

VAL D'ORCIA
Val d'OrciaVal d'Orcia is a valley in the province of Siena, in Toscana, in the north-east from the mountain Amiata and the border with Umbria. The river Orcia, which gives its name, crosses the centre. You can see a lot of wonderful landscapes and find centres of mediaeval origin, 2 famous of them are Pienza and Montalcino. The valley is also an important natural, artistic and cultural park, and in July 2, 2004 became a part of the World Humanity Heritage, thanks to its beautiful panoramas, which influenced many artists of the Renaissance. The commission commented the insertion in the list: "Val d'Orcia is an exclusion of how a natural landscape was redrawn in the period of the Renaissance to reflect the ideas of good governing and to create the aestetically pleasant image; the landscape of Val d'Orcia was painted by the artists of School of Senese, was blossomed during the Renaissance. The images of Val d'Orcia and the pictures became the icons of the Renaissance and had influenced the mode to think the landscape in following".

TREMITI ISLANDS
Isole TremitiTremiti Islands (called also Diomedee) are an archipelago in the 'Adriatic sea, 12 nautical miles to the north from a cape of Gargano (Lake of Lesina) and 24 nautical miles to the east from the coast of Molise (Termoli). Administratively, the archipelago - a province of Tremiti Islands (420 citizens[1]), is under the jurisdiction of the province of Foggia. The city is a part of the National Park of Gargano and some part of its territory in 1989 became a sea reserve. Also if it is a smallest and second low-populated city (less populated is only Celle di San Vito) of Puglia, it is one of the touristic centres the most important for the whole region. Thanks to the quality of its bathing waters it received lots of time the Blue Flag, a prestigious recognition of Foundation for Environmental Education.

ARCHEOLOGICAL DIG OF POMPEII AND ERCOLANO
ercolanoErcolano is a town of about 60000 citizens in the province of Naples. It's a famous city for its legendary origins and for its archaeological dig, which together with those of Pompeii and Oplontis, in 1997 became a part of the World Humanity Heritage. An archaeological dig of Ercolano, more famous than those of Pompeii and Torre Annunziata, is a fixed dream of thousands of tourists, also thank to the new site of access into archaeological dig, this new area is now only in the stage of research but the entrance has already 2 level parking. Thare are also many places to see in the modern city: the main avenue of the city, the avenue Resina, which connects Ercolano and Naples, it's also called a Golden Mile (Miglio d'Oro), for the presence of different architectural buildings: Vesuvius Villas (some reconstructed by famous sculptures and architectures such as Vanvitelli), April Villa (now is a luxury Hotel Miglio d'Oro), Battisti's Villa, Villa and a Park of Favourite and Villa Campolieto, places of cultural events, concerts and spectacles. From Ercolano it's possible to achieve the National Park of Vesuvius .

THE VALLEY OF TEMPLES (LA VALLE DEI TEMPLI)
Valle dei TempliThe Valley of temples (La Valle dei Templi) is an archaeological site of the period of Magna Grecia, situated in Agrigento, in Sicily. In 1997 it was inserted in the list of place of the World Humanity Heritage of UNESCO. It is so-called a dream of tourist inspire the higher flow of tourists in Agrigento, and it is one of the principle city of Sicily. La Valle dei Templi is characterized by 7 temples in the Dorian style. The Temple of Giunone, dedicated to the goddess, was built in V century b.c. and was burnt in 406 by Carthaginians. The Temple of Concordia, the name of which is from the Latin inscription found in the temple, was also built in V century. Actually it is kept well. This temple was transformed into the saint temple in VI century a.c. The Temple of Eracle, the most antique, was dedicated to the worship of the god Eracle (or Ercole), one of the most respected god among the citizens of ancient Akragas. The Temple of Zeus Olimpico (Giove), was built to worship the god of victory la victory in 480 b.c. by Carthaginians, and is characterized by so-called telamons, the statues of great dimensions in figure of a man. The Temple of Dioscuri (or of Castore and Polluce) was built to worship two twins, sons of Sparta and Giove. The Temple of Vulcan, was built in V century and represents one of the most impressive construction in the valley. The Temple of Esculapio was built far from the walls of the city, it was a place of pilgrims.
